When it comes to Freud, he thought practically anything could arouse the sexual instincts inside each individual. Things that have shape of a penis like a cucumber, poles, bread, pens, and so on. Things of power were also considered sexual like swords, knives, guns, revolvers, and so on. Everyday things like the trees or dishes were considered sexual to Freud.

Symbols of sex can be anything in your dream; however, you have to give it power; you have to be aroused by it to be sexual. Many people do not have a problem with the symbolism, but the actual act. Many women and men feel dirty or bad every time they have a sexual dream.

Freud made it comfortable to have a sex dream with his theory, and later on, everything he said was denounced, making it a sin. However, sex is a natural aspect of life. It is the way we make life. There is no shame in a sexual dream because it is natural.
